ETRE is a 3D third-person Metroidvania set inside Orbis, a planet-scale alien mind on the brink of awakening. You play as Xyle, drawn across the stars by a signal from Orbis. Atel, your bonded other, has vanished inside, and a post-human society called the Etre has grown within the World Mind’s body, split between two factions who each want to use Orbis for their own ends.

Across distinct biomes inspired by the visionary sci‑fi of 70s–80s European graphic novels, you’ll uncover a network of living machines called Angel Tech and the rogue Living Geometry spawned by their corruption. Over a journey with multiple endings, your choices and discoveries shape whether Orbis stabilizes as a new world, becomes a transcendent god-mind, or awakens into something far more terrifying.
