Miksi Early Access?

We have been working very hard on this game for a long time and recognize the opportunity to engage directly with the community in bettering the game experience, particularly with our game systems, pacing, combat, and quests. Emberwood already boasts a substantial amount of content, making it a worthwhile experience even in its current state.

We're looking to expand the full version with additional quests in later levels and refine combat mechanics based on community feedback, focusing on RPG elements such as damage values, skill levels, enemy attributes, and resistances. The expertise system will undergo adjustments and completion based on player input. Expect more NPCs, especially in the main city and later stages, along with additional boss battles. Music, sound, and post-processing will also see updates and finalization.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version offers access to 8 collosal-sized levels, a village, and a 4-zone city. You can play the fully realized character Sentinel, complete with a comprehensive skill, talent, and passive tree, while also gaining access to the beta version of the Dragon Knight. There are 10 distinct enemy types along with a few bosses and minibosses. There are many more systems present that make exploration and character growth engaging.

We plan on increasing the price 1.5x to 2x after Early Access is over.

This includes streaming sessions, increased playtesting opportunities with the community, outreach to other streamers, and regularly sharing content updates. Additionally, we'll be engaging with our Discord community for feedback and discussions. Key areas we're keen on gathering input include pacing, level diversity, enemy encounters, character abilities and passives, quest quantity and difficulty, and evolving complexity.
