Miksi Early Access?

We wanted to release an early version of the game to get more visibility for the game and to get more feedback for developing it. We need to make sure that people have a Derfing good time!

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The team is working on the game in their spare time as we all have other jobs to work and schooling to take. It would be safe to say that the game would not be in a full version for at least 2 years, but it is quite possible that it may not be ready for longer than that. We would update the game throughout the year, so even though it will take a while for a full version to be released, players will get a more complete game sooner than that.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The plan for the full version is to have more content for the game, as well as way better polish to gameplay and art (including more visual feedback). We hope to have more gamemodes (~20), game-changing modifiers (~40), levels (~60), a gun system with lots of guns (>10), a corruption mechanic that adds randomly chosen variations to the game to increase both replayability and chaos, higher player count (~10), more characters to choose from (>30) and online support (Steam Remote Play With Friends has been challenging so far).

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

When first entering Early Access, we intend for the game to have a bit of everything with 4 gamemodes, 3 levels for each gamemode (12 total), and 6 game-changing modifiers. There are also 3 types of bullets in the game: knockback, lethal, and wall piercing lethal. The game currently allows for up to 4 friends to play together in local play as well as Steam remote play with friends. There are also 4 playable characters. So far there is plenty of chaos for up to 4 friends to enjoy!

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

The game will increase in price throughout Early Access as more content is added to the game. After Early Access, the game is intended to stay at a stable price with free updates to the game.

As we update the game, the Community’s involvement will be vital to ensuring the game lives up to its chaotic vision as the Community plays our updated versions of the game. We will be using the Community’s feedback and suggestions to polish the game and ensure our changes resonate well with the players. A part of the feedback will be using Community suggestions to take ideas for new modifiers and gamemodes for the game.
