“Crab Raid Tactics is a unique combination of genres, and making it right will require iterations. I want to stay in touch with the community to see how new ideas and features resonate with players.”

“The plan is to release the game in less than a year. This is a reasonable time frame for the planned scope, but since the development speed depends on a single person with no permanent place to stay - delays might occur.”

“Features that are currently planned for the full game:
  • Elemental Reactions System (DONE)
  • More Boss fights with unique mechanics and attack patterns
  • Permanent upgrades between the runs & upgrade currency - Pearls (1st Iteration done)
  • Trader encounter and raid currency - Seashells
  • Improved Difficulty customization - adding hardships to get more rewards
  • Powerful abilities that can be triggered manually once in a while
  • Tutorial that would explain game basics to new players

There are also plans for additional arenas, arena events, bosses, enemies, abilities & crabs”

“The game is in a playable state with minimal content. Some crucial features have not been implemented yet, but the core of the game is close to being complete. That, of course, will depend on the feedback collected during playtests.

Content that is currently available:
  • 7 Crabs to choose from
  • 5 active abilities
  • 9 passive upgrades
  • 3 areas, each with 2 arenas.
  • Arena Events system - random situations that arise during the fight. Some are tied to certain Areas, some can be unlocked through progression. 4 implemented so far
  • 3 types of enemies - melee, ranged and support
  • A single boss encounter
  • Tanking mechanics & enemy AI - enemies track which target is the most threatening
  • Linear difficulty scaling with each level
  • Endless Raid mode (continue the raid after beating a boss for an increased challenge)

浑身甲壳的强大英雄们正要发起一次袭击，凡是海岸上闪闪发光的好东西都不放过。它们个个受贪婪驱使，因此很容易被敌人牵着鼻子走并被智取。因此，它们需要您来当军师，帮助它们应对复杂多变的战斗情况，最终碾压敌人！

慎重安排英雄的位置，指引它们在愈发恶劣的环境中穿梭自如，这些英雄会无脑打击任何接近它们的东西！
