“We expect “Drift Island” to remain in Early Access until the second half of 2026, when we aim to release version 1.0. The exact timeline may change depending on the amount of feedback we receive and the improvements requested by our players. Our main goal is to deliver a polished and complete experience rather than rushing to meet a fixed date.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“At the moment, the game includes a limited selection of cars, parts, modes, and challenges.
In the full version we plan to expand the car roster, add many more customization options and tuning parts, introduce additional game modes, and include a wider variety of challenges and events. ”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The Early Access version of “Drift Island” already includes several core features: a small selection of cars, the ability to earn money by delivering food, a system for repairing car parts, and a basic vehicle damage system.
While these features are playable, they are still in an early state and will continue to be refined, expanded, and polished throughout development.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“During Early Access the game is available at a very attractive price, as we are aware that a lot of content and features are still missing compared to the planned full version. This lower price is our way of thanking the players who decide to support us at this early stage. The price will increase significantly once version 1.0 is released.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We want to develop “Drift Island” together with our community. Players will be able to share their feedback and ideas directly with us through the game’s Steam forums and our official Discord server. We will actively listen, discuss upcoming features, and adjust our development priorities based on community input. Our goal is to make players feel that their voice truly matters in shaping the final version of the game.”
