Miksi Early Access?

“Drift Island” is an ambitious project that combines drifting, car building, and an open world experience. To deliver on such a large vision, we need time and the support of our community.
Early Access allows us to develop the game together with players - listening to feedback, fixing bugs, and adding new features step by step. This way we can ensure that the final version truly meets the expectations of drift and car culture fans.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We expect “Drift Island” to remain in Early Access until the second half of 2026, when we aim to release version 1.0. The exact timeline may change depending on the amount of feedback we receive and the improvements requested by our players. Our main goal is to deliver a polished and complete experience rather than rushing to meet a fixed date.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

At the moment, the game includes a limited selection of cars, parts, modes, and challenges.
In the full version we plan to expand the car roster, add many more customization options and tuning parts, introduce additional game modes, and include a wider variety of challenges and events.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access version of “Drift Island” already includes several core features: a small selection of cars, the ability to earn money by delivering food, a system for repairing car parts, and a basic vehicle damage system.
While these features are playable, they are still in an early state and will continue to be refined, expanded, and polished throughout development.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

During Early Access the game is available at a very attractive price, as we are aware that a lot of content and features are still missing compared to the planned full version. This lower price is our way of thanking the players who decide to support us at this early stage. The price will increase significantly once version 1.0 is released.

We want to develop “Drift Island” together with our community. Players will be able to share their feedback and ideas directly with us through the game’s Steam forums and our official Discord server. We will actively listen, discuss upcoming features, and adjust our development priorities based on community input. Our goal is to make players feel that their voice truly matters in shaping the final version of the game.
