About This Game

When they built the floating cities, they had no idea an insidious threat lurked deep below.

A hunger awoke. To keep the surface safe, it must be fed.

Dive into ever-changing cave systems. Collect resources that can be traded for upgrades and items. Explore ever deeper.

The predators aren’t the only danger. Air and light are precious, and the cave walls are unforgiving.

KEY FEATURES

  • Procedurally generated caves make every expedition different.
  • Freedom to explore however you like. Dive fast and aggressive. Or explore slowly, dropping markers along the way.
  • 5 expeditions with differing objectives, abilities, and resources.
  • Subversive achievements and challenges.
  • Soundtrack by award-winning composer Cedar Jones (Jetpack Joyride and more).
  • Dynamic 2D lighting makes even the most simple art assets look kinda neat.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER

Feed the Deep was built almost entirely by me, Luke Muscat. Back in the Old Times I was creator of Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja. A couple of years ago I decided I wanted to try the ultimate game dev challenge, and make a game completely solo.

I was inspired by hits such as Dome Keeper and Spelunky, while also adding my own authentic and original concepts.

I've also been documenting the process on YouTube, so you can see the game go from hour one of development to where it is today!
