Why Early Access?

“As of now, the game has majority of the game mechanics packed into it and with time and community feedback I would like to add new features as we move ahead. However, the map building will take time and current version boasts a total of 2 towns, 1 large city, 2 farms, 1 crop field and one village, but the map is large enough to fit much more detailed locations like towns and cities(60 percent of the map is still covered by forest areas) and it may take time for me as a single developer to address those minute details onto the existing map. This will also give the early access customers a solid reason to come back to the game later and find a reformed map which would make it enjoyable to experience the game once again.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am planning to finish this game by August of this year but just to be on the safe side this should be out of early access by the end of this year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As I mentioned, there will be few additions to the type of jobs available for you, additional cars and we hope to add more landmarks in order to make an improved version of the existing map. We plan to increase the playable area within the map and unlock more achievements to complete within the game. Also Steam achievements and stats are not yet integrated due to some game engine limitations but I would like to work on that once the engine code is updated. Just for your reference this is being developed on the latest version of Unreal Engine.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the game is almost complete with respect to the game mechanics (although new delivery types will be added with updates and feature requests). 40 percent of the map is playable, and it has a number of cars to choose from. You can complete passenger and cargo delivery missions across the existing map, earn money and earn achievements as you increase your driver level. Also, the game boasts a dynamic weather system and day night cycle to make the experience more lively.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game price will see a small hike once it's out of early access because of additional cost on building a more believable world and addition of new cars to the game. But it won't be too different from the current price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I have put my best efforts to make this game as polished as possible and have not rushed any of the process involved. Still, it might so happen that some bugs might slip under the radar and that's where I seek your reviews and feedbacks to make this early access a constructive phase of the game. Being a single developer, it may so happen that the updates might be slow from my side, but I would try my best to keep it steady.
