“In making the Great Smog, we realized the amount of possibilities for new locations and enemies were immense, with London having so many iconic landmarks. With Early Access, we can explore all of them, and find out what new locations or enemies players want to see. We would like to continue to make player feedback an integral part of our decision making, and Early Access will let so many more people take part in TGS' ongoing development.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“Depending on community feedback, we plan to continue working on the game for at least a year in order to fully explore all its opportunities.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“We would ideally like to expand the roster of enemies to include 12 unique mutants, and we have several levels planned, including Westminster Palace and Guy's Hospital. Part of our reason for Early Access is to see where our playerbase would like to take the game though, and see what cool enemy and level ideas they want to explore.”

“The game is completely playable and fun, with some minor bugs of course. However, with only 4 currently finished locations, 3 tiers of equipment and 6 mutants, there is so much more potential content to add. ”

“We likely will raise the price as new content is added and the game becomes more polished. ”

You and up to 3 of your friends are Commissioned Officers of the United Africa Company, now colloquially known as Smog Runners. Where once your commission might have taken you to exotic locations across the globe, now your mission is very simple - carry all the salvage you're able to from the mutant-infested streets, and don't die in the process.

Use all your cunning and willpower, and run like hell, and you might be able to profit from the treasure troves nestled deep in the heart of the mutant-ridden streets of London. Until then, make sure your airship is fueled, your rusty pipe is in good nick, your gas mask is fitted properly, and you haven't miffed off any of the factions vying for control over what's left of the Empire.

Explore various iconic landmarks of London, such as St Paul's Cathedral and the Tower of London, and the ruins of an Empire on the cusp of revolution, both technologically and politically. Uncover the secrets behind the mysterious Great Smog and the world it ravaged.

Take part in the battle for the Empire's uncertain future, aligning yourself with the various factions that survived the catastrophe. Will you recover the Crown Jewels to help the Aristocracy crown a new king, or scrap them for the metal to craft explosives for the revolutionary Trade Union Congress? Or just hang them on your mantelpiece?

Horrifying mutants, twisted by the Smog, prowl the streets below. In order to survive, you must keep your airship stocked with fuel recovered from the surface. In order to thrive, you must gather and break down everything that isn't nailed down to make new weapons and traps, or take contracts to recover lost trinkets and old world relics for profit.

Whether scavenging to survive or to get the resources to craft that one perfect decoration for above your fireplace, you will run into danger. And with random loot locations and mutants in every run, you will never know quite what to expect.

Take on the streets of London however you like, through stealth, utilizing the environment, or perfectly placed traps. Hide, run or fight - the choice is yours. Just make sure you're well stocked if you choose the latter.

A wide array of cosmetic choices ensure that your Smog Runner is truly yours. And should you manage to keep it fueled, your airship, your mobile base in the sky, is fully customizable with decorations, furniture and storage.

When you begin your journey in the Great Smog, you will be woefully unprepared. Death is almost certain, whether by a monster stalking you through London's alleys, your oxygen running out too far from your bathysphere, or your airship's fuel tank being empty. But with ingenuity and perseverance, you and your friends will overcome these challenges and eventually be able to go toe to toe with foes that once seem insurmountable.
