Wozu Early Access?

„My goal is to release Slime Slayer in a state where it does not feel like an Early Access game. Early Access is an opportunity to flesh out the mechanics in tandem with community feedback to help explore the features and content that players find most interesting. I really love this game, but I am making it for the people that play it. The best way to make it into a game you all will love too is with community feedback and support.“

„Slime Slayer will be in early access for no longer than a year. I love the idea of doing post launch patches and updates. I want to be able to fully release the game so players getting into it know they are getting a finished product but with more to come.“

„The full version of Slime Slayer will primarily have more content - more runes, more spells, more enemies, more bosses, and more zone variety for players to progress through.“

„Slime Slayer is currently a fully playable game start to finish, with 6 mechanically distinct elements, 3 base spells each with an evolution for every element, and 10 behavior modifying runes. Each spell, element, and modifier rune has 4 levels that can be upgraded at the Runeforge. Play through 60 rooms, facing 3 bosses and a gauntlet at the end to test you build!“

„There are currently no planned price changes post release.“

„I primarily want to involve the community throughout the development process by taking players' feedback into account via the Discord channel and Steam forums. Feedback will be considered not only with numbers and data but also with the feeling and experience the game delivers.“

Slime Slayer is an action-packed roguelite where you exterminate EVERY LAST SLIME! Craft unique character builds in every run with compounding modifier runes.

Features

Pick Your Element: Every spell can be evolved with every element, and every element is mechanically distinct! Learn the strengths and weaknesses of each element and how to best combo them to craft a slime-killing machine!
Not Just a Numbers Game: Every rune and every rank up makes your spells bigger, faster, and stronger. Not a single upgrade or mechanic in Slime Slayer only increases your damage, so put your spreadsheets away and enjoy making builds that are powerful because of the mechanics you built into them!
Build Your Spells: All modifier runes can apply to all skills, and each rune compounds in a way where sequence matters. Learning how different runes build off of each other allows you to create unique and incredibly deadly combinations to slay even the most powerful slimes!
Choose Your Path: Traverse between the Forest, Desert, Crystal Caves, Floating Isles, Arctic, Volcano, and Void Zones to encounter unique slimes and bosses! Each Combat room can RuneCharged and HeartCharged, empowering all slimes inside. The more powerful the enemies in a room, the greater the reward!
Relics: Take your build to the next level with distinct Relics! Relics are non-stacking unique global modifiers that empower your builds, giving you new paths to power with every run!
