In lush alpine mountains and meadows stands the renowned equestrian capital of Europe, a town called Rein Ravine and its surrounding province of the same name.

You have been admitted to study in its highly sought-after Rein Ravine Equine University International, alongside with other ambitious equestrians from around the world. This once in a lifetime opportunity leads you to train in the three most common European disciplines - showjumping, dressage, and cross country - under the eye of masters claimed to be some of the best in the world.

But is equestrian life in this prestigious village as glamorous as it appears?






Tales of Rein Ravine aims to challenge its players with first-of-its-kind riding mechanics and gameplay heavily inspired by real-life horse riding, as well as tell an intriguing story - more mature than typical in its genre - to a young adult audience of horse gamers. Horses in Rein Ravine are versatile to ride, ranging from calm and experienced geldings to hot-blooded mares and easily spooked young stallions. The player will take part in dozens of riding lessons, and to progress further in the story, needs to score highly in regional, national and international competitions representing the Equine University. To a degree it is possible to prioritize a certain discipline over others. The game also offers some sandbox features, such as creating your own jumping courses.

The game had a demo released via Patreon in 2022, and the official game's first launch will be in the summer of 2024.
