I, Takeo Kashima, am currently taking a short break in the office of a hot spring inn.
That inn is where I grew up.

My parents are away from the inn for a few days to attend some sort of meeting in town.
With two pairs of hands gone, this small inn can't keep up with all the work. That's why I was called in for the summer.

"Oh? Tired already?"

The person who appears at the door is Yukari Kashima.
She's my older brother's wife, or in other words, my sister-in-law.
Right now, she's working as the proprietress of this inn.

My brother… passed away last year due to illness.
That makes Yukari a widow.
