DESCRIPTION

The Backrooms: Investigate and Escape is horrific experience, players must survive and escape from various levels by solving puzzles with unique mechanics in each one. The game is based on a famous creepypasta, and it incorporates numerous real references, such as iconic entities and essential elements. To progress, players must explore each room, search for elements that will help them advance and unlock new areas. However, the further they go, the more dangerous it becomes, requiring players to pay close attention to their surroundings, identify each entity, and know how to avoid them if they wish to survive. Along the way, players can search for supplies, store them in their inventory, explore all the rooms, solve puzzles, unlock areas of the map, interact with objects, and attempt to collect everything they find. The main objective of Inside the Backrooms is to provide players with engaging gameplay, challenging difficulty, and an eerie atmosphere. Players will encounter numerous identical rooms with old, dirty carpets and pale yellowish walls that immediately evoke a gloomy and dangerous feeling, making it clear that this is not a safe place to be.

LEVELS

The game currently features 10 huge levels, with each level designed to be more challenging than the previous one. Each level comes with different objectives, puzzles and mechanics, providing players with a unique and immersive experience. All levels are designed to offer players a new and exciting challenge, making sure that players never get bored or lose interest. With every level, players will have to adapt to new objectives, jumpscares, and puzzles, making the game more difficult and rewarding as they progress.

ENTITIES

Inside the Backrooms, players will encounter several entities, each one based on the original creepypasta, with unique ways of attacking and manifesting. Players must carefully observe and understand the behavior of each entity to avoid being caught by multiple entities simultaneously, which can result in dire consequences. In this game, survival requires vigilance and strategic thinking, as players navigate their way through each level while avoiding these entities at all costs. Will you be able to outsmart the entities and escape the Backrooms alive?

PUZZLES

Players will encounter a wide variety of puzzles that are both engaging and entertaining, ranging from simple tasks to complex challenges that require some real mental gymnastics. Each puzzle has been carefully crafted to ensure that players can solve them both alone or collaboratively. To make the experience even more dynamic and captivating, the solution to each puzzle changes with every new playthrough, meaning that you won't always have the same answer twice! Put your puzzle-solving skills to the test and see if you can escape this eerie place full of secrets and enigmas
