The kingdom of Caynburn has been in decline following the great war of Elkswiss and the extermination of demonkind. Without anyone to fight, its people have grown weary and tense with their neighbors, and now a reckoning is at hand.

Brave as you may be, noble as you may be, the world will not always be kind, but a dim hope keeps a brighter future in sight. Traverse your nightmares as you play the customizable roguelike campaign, Cinders of Lament. Utilize your favorite characters and unlock new units exclusive to the mode. Choose your path, fight, rest, loot, and make tough choices in dozens of special events to try to find salvation.
