Agile development:Early access allows developers to test new features and ideas with a real audience, making it easier to make informed decisions about how the game evolves. They can quickly identify and fix problems and adjust the game according to player expectations.

In short, Early Access offers developers the opportunity to improve the game through player feedback, generate revenue to fund development, build an engaged community, and optimize their marketing strategy.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“Our plan is for Early Access to last between one and two years, depending on player feedback and the content we choose to add to the game.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“The basic functionality of the game will remain roughly the same.
What we will be adding is a ton of additional content in the form of new biomes, new enemies, new bosses, and new materials to find. We want to expand the crafting system with new crafting stations and more recipes. We also want to add more weapon types and building parts so you can further customize your base. Additionally, we also plan to add more unique locations and events for you to experience in the world of unilife.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“Most of the game's planned core features have been implemented. Single player mode is currently the only mod available but I plan to make sure to have multiplayer if funding allows. There are currently several fully developed biomes.. There are hundreds of different items (weapons, materials, armor, etc.) in the game, for the player to find or craft. We have over 200 building pieces and around 50 different creature types, including monsters, animals and bosses.”

“No final plans on this, but it's likely the price will increase during the Early Access period.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“We currently use our Discord server as our primary way to talk to our community. Players are invited to suggest new features and changes in the "Suggestions" chat channel. Upcoming changes are discussed openly with the community for rapid feedback. A closed testing group of players has access to the latest versions of the game and works closely with the development team. The testing group evaluates and tests new features and changes before they are released to a public testing branch, available to everyone, and then ultimately to the live version of the game. We will continue to develop this process based on community needs and feedback.”
