«Before answering this question, we would like to tell you a little bit about us and the path that led Star Rangers to Early Access.

The idea of the game was born back in 2019. Then one of us had a dream to make a game about spaceships. Skills were enough mainly for creating 3D models - ships, stations, space objects. There was no full-fledged game yet, but there was the main thing - desire and faith in the idea.

We started small: we created visual concepts, animations, shared the setting and interface prototypes on social networks. For a couple of years, the project existed as a creative laboratory, where we searched for style, atmosphere and direction.

At some point, another person joined us - with extensive gaming experience and skills working in the Unreal Engine. It was then that the idea finally began to "come to life" in the form of various gameplay prototypes. After much discussion and experimentation, we decided to change the genre and focus on an isometric space RPG with a focus on tactical combat, heroes, and a sci-fi atmosphere.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«The active development of the current version took about a year and a half.
We started working as a team of three, but at some point we were down to two, and we're actually doing most of the work on our own enthusiasm.

We expect Early Access to last between 1 and 3 years.
During this time, we plan to add new content and improve key mechanics. We definitely don't plan to stop.»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«We have a clear vision of where we want to take the game, but we also look forward to hearing from the community.

Key areas of development:
Expansion and refinement of core mechanics
Visual improvements, such as effects and a new interface.
New ship classes and weapon options
New heroes that influence ship control
More diverse enemies, mission types, and space events

Our goal is to create a rich and memorable space RPG where every mission feels like a unique story.»

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«At the moment, the game has a solid foundation:

Control of a single main ship
Unmanned vehicles controlled remotely by heroes
Tactical space battles
A set of missions with gradually increasing difficulty
A system for leveling up the captain and developing skills

This is already a full-fledged gaming experience that allows you to understand the idea and atmosphere of the project, but there are still many improvements and expansions to come.»

«As Star Rangers develops, the price will gradually increase. And everyone who has purchased the game has helped us continue development — this support is invaluable to us!!!»
