“Early Access allows us to have a smaller group of people play the game and provide us with feedback on ways to improve it before launch. We take customer feedback, input and our open-door development policies very serious and Early Access allows us to take these principles to the next level.”

“Our plans are to have Obsta-Loop in Early Access until the end of either Q2 or Q3 of 2023. HOWEVER, game development can be a pain sometimes and if there are unforeseen issues, we will be transparent about our plans to push that time-table back.”

Its important to note that version 2.0 of the game will designate it as "feature complete," at which time it will leave Early Access.
Its also important to note that everything listed in "V. 3.xx + Beyond" is a wishlist of things that we hope to do, but we cannot make any hard promises on them.

“The game is currently in version 0.7.x. This means that the single player functionality is in the build with the scoring system, basic player customization and the ability to complete a full run of a level.”

“The core game (which includes the tutorial level, the first cave level and abilities) will always be free, both pre and post EA. We plan to monetize the game with paid DLC, which will include additional levels, biomes, enemies and player customization.
We design our games in a manner where we can extend them with additional content, indefinitely.
Following the release of version 2.0, our intention is to continue to release paid DLC for it, as long as it is profitable.”
