The game features a unique survival-action RPG experience, with contrasting gameplay loops of open-world exploration by day and defending against undead attacks by night. Our small team of eight is dedicated to building a polished game that provides something truly new within the survival genre. To achieve this, we’re looking forward to incorporating valuable community feedback as we refine the core experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our current goal is to stay in Early Access for about a year, during which we’ll continue developing planned content. However, this timeline may evolve based on community feedback and player response, as we’re always open to adjusting our roadmap and milestones to ensure the best possible experience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include additional areas, bosses, weapons, and a more extensive progression system. We’ll continue optimizing and improving the game while prioritizing community feedback, which may lead to changes in our initial plans. Our aim is to expand both the depth and breadth of the experience to make IfSunSets truly shine.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core gameplay loop of day/night cycles, combat, and building systems. Players can explore several regions, face a variety of monsters, and take on bosses that bring meaningful challenges. We’ve ensured there’s a satisfying amount of content available and plan to expand it further throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“While there’s no final decision yet, we may raise the price when leaving Early Access, provided we’ve significantly expanded the content and features. If this happens, we’ll make sure to give the community ample notice.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a top priority for us. We’ll gather feedback through Discord, Steam forums, and our official channels like X (formerly Twitter). Our core developers will be directly involved on Discord, allowing us to engage in discussions and act on your input as development progresses.”

Synopsis

Luminora, a mysterious island brimming with ancient secrets.

Set up traps and obstacles to prevent enemy invasions, and use a variety of construction features to create a secure refuge and prepare for impending threats!

As evening falls, a vast horde of monsters will emerge. They will pursue you, no matter where you hide or where you are. Survive the relentless onslaught of the undead.
