Why Early Access?

“I've recently shifted to working on this game full-time as a solo developer.

I want to move to releasing polished bits of the game at a time. Early Access allows me to get direct feedback from players about the story, the art, and any bugs or issues that might be present. Although the main story is already outlined, I always love to hear feedback from players, and to build a stronger game alongside my community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 6-8 months.

I currently plan to release the game early 2026, to allow for unexpected issues or larger changes. If things go smoothly, the game could release later this year, but expect 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full game is projected to have ~20 hours of gameplay and roughly 200k words.

I plan to gradually update the Early Access build to come closer to those numbers. However, I plan for the entire story to only be released in the full version.

Additionally, while more art, music and voice acting may be included in Early Access updates, a larger pass and update is planned before release. So the most extensive version is anticipated to only be available after launch.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version is a direct continuation of the Extended Demo, and represents 6 hours of gameplay.

The full list of Early Access features are:

• Approximately 6 hours of gameplay and reading.
  
• Interactive story with player choice for conversations, relationships, and actions.
  
• Story is structured so that the player experiences each individual day of the summer.
  
• In-game story spanning June 7th to July 18th.
  
• 12 unlockable gallery images.
  
• 2 sapphic romance routes, based on your decisions.
  
• Original soundtrack inspired by 90's alternative.
  
• Original retro inspired 2-bit dithered art.
  
• Partial voice acting.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually increase the price as I add new content leading up to release.

Each major update to the Early Access version will slowly bring the price closer to the release price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“It is important to know that the outline for the entire story has already been written. This is not expected to change majorly.

However, I do plan on gathering feedback on the romance routes, places people want to see more art or CGs, or points the story should expand on.
