"Samhain is currently fully playable and we are working on adding additional features. We plan to leave early access when the game has 13 total monsters."

"The current version of Samhain features a small number of monsters and a wide variety of tools. There is one large, detailed map that can be played solo or through online co-op. Basic character customization such as skin/ eye color is available in the menus, and players can fully investigate and dispatch every monster that's been implemented so far."

"The price will increase once the game is fully released. There are no current plans to raise or lower the price during Early Access."

Sobre este jogo

Samhain is an investigative horror game where players are tasked with identifying and destroying various monsters. Samhain can be played with up to four players online or over LAN.

Players can work out their target's identity by surveying their environment for various clues. Claw marks, ectoplasm, notes, corpses, and more all provide valuable information to the investigation. Once players determine which monster they're hunting, they have until midnight to gather enough supplies to destroy it. Each enemy has unique strengths, weaknesses, and behaviors that must be taken into account during the investigation. Preparing for the wrong type of enemy will result in a bloody death.

Game contains scenes of characters being killed in various ways by a number of monsters. Options to censor these first-person animations exist but there is not currently an option to censor the other blood and gore.
