„I want to provide players with the opportunity to try out the public beta version of Skyland. I am looking for feedback as I add new features and continue to develop the game.“

„The game will remain in early access for the duration of the 2024 calendar year.“

„The full version will include changes based of feedback from players during the early access testing period. Aspects of the game that turn out to be confusing or unclear to players will be cleaned up or otherwise improved. I plan to continue to add new level scenarios and graphics, along with additional weapons.“

„Fully playable and largely bug free. All of the features described in the 'About This' section of the game description are currently implemented.“

„I hope to solicit feedback from players during the early access period, which I will then use to improve the game. Skyland previously went through multiple rounds of beta testing, during which players uncovered bugs and submitted requests for new features. This beta testing ultimately improved the gameplay in significant ways, and I am hoping to incorporate feedback from the Steam early access testing in similar ways.“

Originally developed in a few weeks for a game jam, Skyland is the result of one solo developer's years-long attempt to create a gameboy advance game. In this gorgeous FTL-inspired tactical RTS, you and your crew must take command of a flying castle, and defend it from sky pirates while fighting enemies of increasing difficulty.

Once only available as a GBA rom, Skyland is now on steam as a free download for Windows!

Key features:
* Complex strategic gameplay - Construct additions to your castle, build new weapons and defenses, give orders to your crew, chose weapon targets.
* Play at your own pace - Pause the game at any time to consider new strategies. You may also speed up, slow down, and even rewind levels!
* Randomized encounters - Encounters occur unexpectedly, and many enemy castle layouts are procedurally generated. No two playthroughs will be exactly alike!
