What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“The Omega Crafter development team believes that community feedback is extremely important to creating the best gaming experience. Omega Crafter is a game with a new concept of survival craft game x programming. In order to make this new concept a more interesting gaming experience, we believe it is necessary to create a cycle of receiving a lot of feedback and incorporating it into the game, so we decided to release it as early access.

The development team takes user feedback seriously and we apply it to improving the gaming. We look forward to and appreciate user feedback both good or bad.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We would like to keep it as an early access version for at least one year and update it while incorporating everyone's feedback. For updates, we are considering measures to further improve the game experience, focusing on adding content and improving usability. We will announce the official release date while taking into consideration the progress of development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We are planning to add new content, features, etc. in preparation for the launch of the Release Version.
We are considering various content such as adding biomes to expand exploration, adding equipment and programming blocks to make building and automation more enjoyable, and adding monsters, bosses, and dungeons to have more battles to experience. We would like to listen to user feedback and improve the game as much as possible before we release the Release Version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core survival craft and automation features of the game have already been completed as well as over 200 types of items, over 150 types of buildings, over 50 types of monsters and bosses, over 80 types of programming blocks, automatically generated maps, multiplayer system, etc. We have a large amount of content for you to enjoy by yourself or with friends.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game may increase upon official release or even during early access as the amount of content increases. We still haven't decided on the details yet.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Omega Crafter is looking for feedback from various places such as the official Discord, official X(Twitter), and the Steam community thread. The developers read almost all the content posted on these platforms and exchange opinions with users when possible. Through multiple tests, we have established a cycle in which we incorporate the feedback we receive into the development process. We would appreciate it if you would continue to give us your opinions on Omega Crafter.”
