„Because the game's content is currently limited, although the core gameplay, art direction, and tone of the game are well-established. There is only one jungle and a few assets, and you can complete the game in an average of 3 hours (compared to the final version which will offer hundreds of hours of gameplay). Content updates will be released over the next years to enrich the game, allowing me to simultaneously gather your feedback to guide feature development and improve the quality of the game over time. It's a win-win situation.“

„For two years, with a major update planned every few months, along with regular patches in between.“

„The full version will feature expanded content, including more jungles, monkeys, bananas and plateforms. The placeable equipment in the central area of the game will be expanded a lot. We also plan to add map sharing.“

„The game is currently in version 0.9, which already validates the core gameplay (building, platforming, and platform building). In the next months, a version 1.0 will be finalized, which will address the issues raised during the last playtest and improve the overall user experience. This version 1.0 will also serve as the final version for the game's demo.“

„We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features. Once it is out of early access, the price will remain fixed.“

I organize playtests with players, which provide valuable feedback for finding bugs and improving the game so don't hesitate to propose your help. With the game's release, I hope to engage more players in experiencing the game at an early stage and encourage you to provide feedback that will have a direct impact on the game.“

Banana Man: The Space Monkeys is a third person 3D plateformer builder game entirely built around the character of Banana Man, an asset graciously provided by Banana Yellow Games Studio, a video game studio based in Costa Rica and US.

Defend the station against pirates, clean it, rebuild all the facilities and more important, catch bananas and makes the monkeys happy.

As soon as I saw Banana Man, I had an irresistible urge to make a game with him. His charisma and absurdity appeal to me immensely. So, I challenged myself to create a game for/around him. His universe, part science fiction, part jungle, is filled with banana-eating monkeys and robots. The gameplay style is a crash-test and construction game, and the graphical style is very low poly prototype. Everything comes from him!

The game is currently very young (I started its development in mid-August 2022), but I hope you will enjoy the few hours you spend cleaning up the jungle and trying to catch bananas. Over the months, many updates will follow to improve the quality of the game (especially the character's movements), fix bugs, and add content (including many activities in the central area of the game, as well as 7 maps, as many monkeys, ammunition and platforms with various behaviors, many items to craft and place in the world, etc. - see the Ours Agile website).
