《向往的方向》是一款以叙事为主，玩法为辅讲述了一个关于小男孩成长的故事。
游戏玩法主要是横板跳跃和横板解密为主，其中横板跳跃部分是比较挑战性的，游戏中在2d游戏的基础上采用了电影化叙事，这是一种比较不错的体验，美术风格上是非常唯美的，也是非常有大胆有创意的，创建了一个梦幻的世界。
