What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Although the game is close to 100% complete, improving the game based on player feedback will help the development of this game. The game also lacks a visual component for its story. This being in early access not only helps the players be a part of the development, but allows the main story of the game to be told clearly, which ties into the gameplay. ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Most likely 6 months - 1 year.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan is to have 8 backstory scenes for the 8 playable characters and hopefully 32 ending images for all playable characters. As for gameplay, there's plans to have an additional boss added to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game has around 99% of planned content in this version, excluding cutscenes. All of the main gameplay, core mechanics, skills, etc. are in this current version.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will remain the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community can join the discord or send a message to the Instagram and Bluesky account to send suggestions and questions they might have. ”

About This Game

Ascend!

150 Floors is a rogue-lite, tile-based strategy RPG where you can choose to play as 8 different mages. Battle your way through 150 floors filled with many eccentric enemies and meet different characters who may or may not help you on your journey, as you attempt to reach the top floor!

Gameplay

Your adventure takes place in a tower that has 150 floors filled with enemies. Use different magical skills unique to each mage to attack your enemies and defend yourself. Each floor made up of tiles has a durability limit. If you attack an enemy, you're also attacking the tile they occupy as well and it may break, sending the enemy to the previous floor. This same logic applies to your opponents as well. If the tile you occupy breaks, you fall to the previous floor as well. Defeat all monsters on a floor and an elevator appears on the floor, taking you to the next floor.

Story

2 years prior in a distant land, strange creatures spawned from the top of a large tower and began their invasion, killing millions of people and consuming their souls. 8 mages, all afflicted by the sudden invasion of strange creatures, want to rid the land of these creatures for their own personal reasons. The only similarities they share are to reach the 150th floor and conquer it, granting them any wish they desire... Or so the saying goes.

Features

- Choose between 8 mages with their own unique elements!

- Battle over 70+ different enemies, each with their own magic skills!

- Use over 100 different magic skills!

- Decide between a Pure, Natural and Tainted alignment, as you evolve your mage to use stronger magic!
