Descending deeper into darkness increases the relentlessness of the monstrous horde. Eaten by Darkness takes place in a late 1800s mining operation with a mysterious occult driven agenda buried deep in the mines.

The game is a blend of older style fast paced action based first person shooters and modern horror with a focus on player immersion. Eaten by Darkness is designed as a game that you, the player, feel you are actually experiencing yourself. Eaten by Darkness is a fast paced high tension action shooter throughout which you remain in control of your character at all times; this is not as a movie cut scene passive quick time event handholding game you just watch.
