What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“As a solo indie developer, early access is the best way to get feedback on the game in order to deliver a time travel adventure that has the content players want. Early access lets me see what types of puzzles and solutions players like, and which type they don't so that I can tailor the game to what players want.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to collect feedback about new content and different types of puzzles, updating along the way, and then release the finalized version with all the additional content added. I plan to release the finalized game after roughly 6 months of early access feedback collection.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The goals is for the full version to be a longer journey, contain more time travel based puzzles, ideally better graphics, and more characters. I'd plan to keep adding on more content to the game, based on what people want to see.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This early access version contains completed core mechanics and a beatable main storyline. The game can be played through fully, but I'm looking to add more content based on feedback of what people like and don't like. The game is in a completed enough state that it will feel like a full game, but I want to add more content to it based on player feedback.
What will change during early access is not the core concept of the game, but additions to story, additions to the full set of time travel puzzles, additional characters, and additional quality of life improvements (as desired by the playerbase).”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No, if you buy it during early access, you get all the updates as we go, and you get the chance for your feedback to be incorporated into the game. You can shape future puzzles, see your character ideas implemented into the game, and enjoy watching your ideas come to life.

The initial sale discount is a price incentive to buy early though.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“You can email suggestions and feedback to inspiringgamescontact@gmail.com or comment in the Steam community page with your ideas. If you email me about the game, we can engage in a conversation about what you'd like to see in the game much easier.”

About This Game

An Open World Time Travel Adventure

Welcome to a fully open world, no limits time travel puzzle adventure. This game isn't just a time loop of the same day on repeat, this game lets you travel between five different days. Use your knowledge of the future and ability to travel to the past to assassinate a heavily defended king. Stealthily eliminate guards without getting caught. Any NPC can be killed, either to silence a would-be witness, or for more nefarious purposes.

You play as an assassin beginning his first mission for the Order of Chronos, an order of time manipulating assassins. Use your ability to freely switch between five days to eliminate the king's guards and court officers so that you can deliver the final blow and steal his signet ring, in order to blackmail him.

Exploration and Puzzles

Explore a town full of unique characters with their own goals and quests. Learn about events that will happen, and then go back in time to prevent or benefit from them.

This game is full of non-linear puzzles that will require you to think of time as a key component to solving them. With no arbitrary limits on your ability to time travel, puzzles can be solved in multiple ways depending on what solution you think of.

Choose your path

Will you slaughter your way through innocents to remove witnesses, or will you only kill the king's guards and be the savior of the village? 5 Days offers different routes to victory that allow for more or less violence. But be warned, your score at the end will reflect whether you chose creative solutions or brute force.
