WHAT IS CRYODEATH?

CRYODEATH blends procedural generation, crafting, and hands-on VR survival to make every run unpredictable. Corridors reconfigure, rooms resurface, and the thing hunting you won’t stalk you the same way twice. There are no perfect routes, no guaranteed safe rooms, and no guide that can truly prepare you.

Inspired by classics of sci-fi horror, the game has undergone a transformative year of development. Our next update delivers the most refined, nerve-shredding version yet—some creators didn’t make it past the first encounter.

Scavenge. Craft. Improvise. Build gadgets to distract, disable, or barely outpace what hunts you. Movement is deliberate and physical: sound carries, light betrays, and panic makes mistakes loud. Adapt long enough to piece together what happened aboard the Evriskon.

• Every Playthrough is unique to you — A procedurally generated station reshuffles rooms, shafts, and choke points every run for fresh tension and pacing.

• Survive Your Way — Sneak, distract, or confront using crafted gadgets and scavenged tools—then improvise when plans fall apart. Stealth is key.

• Adaptive Threats — Reworked AI tracks sight, sound, and patterns. Cheap tricks won’t save you.

• Reworked Movement Mechanics — Smoother locomotion, more responsive sprinting, and HMD-tied run direction for cleaner turns. Run can be used alongside thumbstick walking.

• Smarter AI — Improved pathing, Sharper senses and decision-making; harder to shake once they have your scent.

• Map Generation 2.0 — New shaft types, higher encounter probability, and richer route variety.

• Overhauled Encounters — Clearer telegraphs, nastier mid-chase surprises, and better escalation.

• Quality-of-Life — Cleaner UI cues, improved inventory/crafting flow, and expanded comfort options.

• NEW: Hunt Mode — A new mode with a new ending (unlocked after completing the campaign).

• NEW: Sidearm — A new gun to expand your last-resort options.
