It's skill based. Easy to learn, hard to master. Each section is unique and leaves room for improvement. The scoring system awards tactics and skills.

Do you play bullet hell shoot 'em ups?
I play bullet hell shoot 'em ups (e.g. from Cave) regularly and understand the deep scoring mechanics those games have. I usually reach the last stage with one credit. I particularly like shooters with innovative concepts like Ikaruga.

Do you play rhythm games?
I used to play rhythm games daily and still play them from time to time. I love how rhythm games force your whole body to be part of the game. This is what I tried to adopt in Soundstorm.
