跟一代同樣的風格，帶點詼諧幽默只是二代有更惱人的旁白以外，另外把一代點陣風換成了3D，除此之外，傳說法師2似乎並沒有帶來什麼新的東西。3D的地圖反而比起2D的更難展，怪物數量也因此有下調。 缺點滿明顯的，作品尚需要時間打磨，且遊戲進到後期解鎖更多條件之後才能夠比較體驗的到核心的爽快打擊感，希望這點能夠繼續維持。
