Bridge City, near and far, is the only place that connects the two banks of the canyon, which extends beyond sight in both directions. The entrance to the bridge is protected on both sides by strong, high stone walls. There are tent camps for travelers who have no room inside the walls. A city is divided into three parts, separated by internal stone walls. In the middle of the town lies the market and a quarter of the traders, and just below them at the river level is the port from where water-powered cranes lift goods. The two outskirts are home to citizens, inns, and a newly built church.
