About This Game

Card games and roguelike deckbuilding card games have been here for quite some time and have proven to be very fun and addictive to play. As a huge fan of the genre, I always wanted to make a game of my own someday. And here it is, Overwritten: Defeat The Net is my take, which combines elements from the two games I like the most: Slay the Spire and Hearthstone.

FEATURES

  • Roguelike Deck Building: Build your perfect deck one card at a time! Make every decision carefully as the offers are different every run.
  • Control your "minions": Most of the cards in the game are cards that put an object in the playfield. You control those objects, buff them and turn them into powerful sources of damage or blocks, to defeat the enemies.
  • On-screen calculator: The first game to give you more focus on planning your strategy by taking care of the chore of counting and calculating numbers for you. Just drag a rectangle on the screen to select things you want to calculate, and the game will show you how many HP, Attacks, Blocks, RAM Cost,... they have in total.
  • Cyberpunk theme: In this game, you're an entity living in the digital space, you go through nodes to reach the center of the Net and defeat it. All cards and items in the game are computer programming-related.
