„As a community project, we are nothing without the incredible support from our community. As such, Return to Paradise wishes to be as open as possible about its development process. By giving the community access to the game as early as possible, we can gather feedback on the player's experiences and ensure that the experience we will provide at the end of Early Access is as great as it can be.

During Early Access, you will likely encounter bugs or crashes. Your feedback helps us immensely in fixing these errors so that the game can be truly enjoyable.“

Přibližně jak dlouho bude tato hra v předběžném přístupu?

„Early Access is estimated to take at minimum 12-18 months from it's initial listing. The vast majority of this time will be centered around adding extra creatures, plants, decorations, and NPCs to the game, and ensuring there are as few bugs as possible. Actual game mechanics should be completed in a sooner timeframe.

Unfortunately, as a community project, we are unable to provide a definitive date for exiting Early Access. While we'd like to complete the game as soon as possible, we also want to ensure that all content within the finalized product reaches the standards we have set.“

Jak se bude plná verze lišit od předběžného přístupu?

„The full version is currently planned to have the following available to the user as they progress through the game and explore various areas:
~340 Piñatas
~180 Plants/Trees
~50 Fruits/Vegetables
~500 Houses/Decorations

There are many changes to the game ahead of us, but we are confident that the game will be released, even if it means extending the time it is in Early Access.“

V jaké fázi vývoje se hra nachází?

„There are currently 4 Piñatas, 3 Plants/Trees, 7 Fruits/Vegetables, and 11 Houses/Decorations immediately available in the game. Outside of these, there is a working Day/Night Cycle, the ability to store and retrieve items in a crate, the ability to terraform the landscape with the shovel (create/destroy hills, dig ponds), a basic map roughly representative of what the final landscape is envisioned to be, pinata AI to move around, sleep, and be directed by the player, and basic placeholder requirements for some of the piñatas to reside and romance.“

„The community is, and always will be, an invaluable asset to us as development progresses. Our community in Discord constantly provides suggestions for new creatures, gameplay mechanics, or revisions to requirements/challenges in the game to help create a balanced and enjoyable experience. We also welcome anyone of any skill level to learn and contribute to the game, because we believe a community project such as this should be something the entire community can collaborate on.“
