Why Early Access?

“This game is a remake of all "Meiqi" series released in 2020. Although it is a remake, one episode will be updated and one episode will be released. During the remake, I will communicate with players and continuously improve the game experience. As an indie game developer, adopting an early access model is the right way to go.”

“I expect it to be done within 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the early access version, one chapter is completed and one chapter is updated, and the planned full version will contain 25 chapters of content.”

About This Game

MeiQi Series Introduction

MeiQi is a plot-oriented puzzle game set in the 1990s in China, where players will take on the role of the police detective "Liu Youth" as the core force of justice, solving cases and defeating various evil organizations. The game consists of a number of independent cases, which together create a very rich story. By the end of summer 2022, there have been nine consecutive seasons, each season consists of six separate games (DLC). Each episode has an approximate play time of one hour.

The original game was developed using the Unity engine and debuted on the AppStore, and this collection will be based on the original game using the Unreal5 engine. You will get a better visual experience as well as control experience on the PC platform.

Each individual case takes place in a unique location, with carefully designed scenery and objects. 90's China is familiar and unfamiliar, and you'll feel especially close to it. As the cases continue, you will be treated to a complete look at China in the 80's and 90's. They will include: homes and lodges, temples and ancient buildings, public spaces, transportation, and any location you have ever thought of.

  • Separate but continuous episodes and continuous updates

Each case is a stand-alone game that can be played in any order, and you can enter the Sunmatch universe from any case (DLC), and the exciting plot will be continuously updated, and you can get the latest information (trailers and new clues) through Steam or other media!

  • The core gameplay of scene exploration, puzzle solving, and deduction correlation

Carefully designed scenes with a series of objects furnished, organs, puzzles, you can search for evidence in the process to understand the plot, reasoning and correlation is the core gameplay of the Sun Miki suspect case, as a detective, you must master the skills of reasoning!
