Miksi Early Access?

Since Aero GPX is my first game, I want to make the best game I possibly can. Involving a variety of players earlier on in the process will give me the opportunity to make necessary gameplay changes and adjustments as development happens.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

I am planning on leaving Early Access with a targeted 1.0 release window of March/April of 2025. However, since Aero GPX has such a small development team, that is simply a target that I am trying to hit and such plans are subject to change.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

I plan for the full version of the game to have the final 10 circuits implemented with polished gameplay; and for all circuits and career events to have fully fleshed out artwork/visuals.

The career mode is planned to have 3 additional divisions (or groups of events) in the full release version.

Aero GPX's 1.0 release is also planned to have local splitscreen multiplayer, which is not currently functional enough for the Early Access release.

In the game are a variety of racing machines and their associated pilots that the player can choose from; the final game release is planned to have the complete roster of 30.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Early Access will have the first 15 circuits of the game (out of the planned 25) with some having polished visuals, and some still having some placeholder art or greyboxing. The gameplay of these is fairly set in stone.

Early Access will have the first two divisions (groups of events) in the Career Mode fully playable as well, out of the planned 5 divisions.

There are 4 singleplayer game modes that players have access to for the aforementioned 15 tracks. Grand Prix, Single Race, Time Trials, and Practice.

15 out of the 30 planned racing machines (with their associated pilots) will be in the Early Access version.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

No. The Early Access price will be the same as the final release price.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

I have a Discord server where I constantly monitor feedback given for the game; and I plan on listening to general trends in the feedback and applying what needs to be changed over the planned content for the game. I'll also closely monitor the Steam forums and product reviews in order to also involve Steam community members and the game's supporters here as well.
