«We believe that the best way to develop Dungeon of Final Glory is with active feedback from playerbase early in development. We've taken a bit unconventional take on JRPG genre and believe it's especially important to communicate with real players if we want the game to be fun and well balanced.»

«Our plan is to stay in Early Access for 6 months, but this may change based on feedback from the players.»

«We plan to add more enemies, items, attacks and skills. Our main goal is to achieve a more balanced and rich gameplay experience based on player feedback.
We also plan to create more floors for the dungeon, a proper ending for the story, and make some improvements to the audiovisual quality of the game.»

«The current Early Access version contains all features described in the About section, but their implementation is not yet final and fully balanced. There is only a basic set of enemies, items, attacks and skills at the moment. The game also contains only the first level of the planned dungeon. The purpose of this early version is to provide only a core gameplay experience, which we plan to enhance based on player feedback. The current state of the game doesn't represent our full vision and also doesn't contain the true ending for the intended story.»

«We will create the Discord server shortly before the Early Access release. Players will be invited there via an announcement and social media. Everyone will be able to share their opinions, suggestions or questions about the game. The main communication will be based on Discord server, but we will use Steam Forums as well.

Additionally, we plan to provide development updates in the form of short articles about new content and changes for the game.»

Dungeon of Final Glory is a combination of roguelite and turn-based RPG. The player will fight big waves of Lovecraftian monsters and explore the randomized dungeon. All of this in catchy pencil drawn graphics. Each run should provide a slightly different experience.

STORY

You play as the unholy demon hunter Klaudius, who was summoned as the last resort in the final moments of the battle for Earth. The gate to the Underworld has been opened and horrors from the deep fought with humankind. While the vast army is guarding the land, your quest is to go deep down to the dungeon. Fight the evil and seal the gate to hell. As a smiling mad man, enjoy the battle of Final Glory.

FIGHT, EXPLORE AND LOOT

You will explore corridors and rooms of a side-scrolling dungeon. Find loot, traps and encounter dangerous enemies. You will fight small groups of monsters, difficult bosses and big hordes of enemies attacking in waves. You play as an overpowered character, but you also need to protect your weak companions, who are important supportive characters.

UPGRADE YOUR CHARACTER

Collect experience points to level up. At each new level, you will be able to choose one of the skills or upgrades from a random selection of four. Each run you will need to use slightly different build for your character.


BATTLE SYSTEM

This game has a turn-based combat inspired by JRPGs. Each character has their own turns however, so they are not waiting for each other like in typical turn-based games. The Player needs to react quickly since enemies will not wait till he/she finishes the turn.
