1. SYNOPSIS

Ágata is a fragile human who wishes to learn sorcery for take care of herself, but his tutor, the most powerful sorcerer from Los Páramos, forbids her for her own wellness. One night, he leaves her alone in the house.

A mixture of: The Beast and the Beauty, the fantastic tale by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot's from 1740; Rapunzel, the famous tale by Grimm brothers from 1812; and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, the Johann Wolfgang's popular 1797 poem. All of which come together in a little house in the woods filled with esotericism and love.

2. CONTEXT

Ágata lives at Dawid's house in Los Páramos, a clandestine province where all kind of people gets refuge. Humans are an inferior species both socially and physically. Ágata always has wanted to know more about the world that's beyond the house, and take care of herself, but Dawid forbids to learn sorcery.

One night, Dawid leaves on a trip and leaves Agatha alone at home, a home full of books that talk about the wonderful outside world.

3.GAME

We respect your time, we don't try to prolong the experience artificially. We'd say it's short. So, don't rush, enjoy any moment.

Challenging organic puzzles in a house and the garden, a small space with many posibilities. Short distances to do all that this opus offers.

There isn't any puzzle with no sense, it feels like a sorcerer's house, no secret buttons neither number combinations, no "puzzles" literally, all has been designed with the point to feel it verisimilar, keeping a natural environment.

The basics consist of reading the recipes, finding the ingredients, taking them where needed, and learning spells, combining them to bring out their full potential.

The mechanics are original and familiar, subverted topics with wit.

There are several routes to finish the game, this way experimentation is highly rewarded and solutions are not limited, allowing you to find your own way of doing things.

An experience without an interface neither intrusive elements, without inventory and a simple menu integrated into the theme, the books.

This game is not: horror, stealth, action, open world.

4. DEVELOPER NOTES

• We have worked on Unity 2019.4.41f2, a malware protection version for Steam.

• Includes the Manual, the Guide and the Music as downloadable content.

• If you get stuck and frustrated, stop playing and continue the next day; after sleeping, the ideas will sort themselves out.

• No AI was used in the development, only for some C# code. All art, music, voices, sound, text, and design are human creations.

• We will provide support for an indefinite period to fix any bugs and possibly also to change or add content.

• We estimate that it can last between 4 and 6 hours of gameplay. Although it offers more replayable content.
