“It's a game that presents a fun way of playing classic Tower Defence through a first person perspective. With interesting gameplay mechanics and potential, it needs community feedback in order to grow and mature into a memorable game.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“Once Upon a Siege will be in early access for the next 3 or 4 months, roughly until early 2023.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“Planned features for the full release are finely tuned gameplay mechanics, Co-Op modes, expanded levels and armies with even more siege units, a level generator, a competitive AI and Human vs Human league and of course, more upgrades!”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“We are currently in version 0.96 Beta 2.6. Core features are in place and the game is complete from start to finish, however, there are still additions necessary such as extra levels, more NPC's / Siege Units and general polish.

Most importantly, more tuning is needed so the gameplay may really start to shine.”

“The full version of the game will be much more than what it is in its current state. Once released the price will increase by a modest amount worthy of a small Indie 1.0 title.”

“We love this game and wish to see it grow, however, it's a young creature therefore gameplay data is necessary in order for us to tune it for maximum playability. With so many variables affecting gameplay, feedback will be most welcome as player input is what will give this game a good life.”

게임 정보

Classic Tower Defence experienced through the eyes of the defender. As a member of the Galactic Feudalist League you participate in quasi-medieval sieges on the system's local planet, pitting your skills against 2 NPC armies and a host of siege units. Inspired by classic Tower Defence games such as Rampart and digested into a fun VR experience that offers interesting mechanics.

UPGRADE

Many upgrades are available in the space station shop. Focus on personal upgrades, upgrade your cannon, upgrade your defence tower, acquire explosive rounds or purchase special defensive tech to aide you in your siege endeavours.

MANAGE

Manage your defence base during sieges. Buy extra power cables to connect more functionality and upgrades while you defend. Keep an eye on energy levels and consumption as every upgrade costs as you decide which systems to run and which systems you must do without.

DEFEND

The enemy will send various siege units your way. Man your cannon and weaken their assault so that you may survive until the end. Disable siege towers full of raiding parties and ram towers, destroy reinforcement dropships, gunships and cannons and stop missile-throwing golems from breaching your walls. If all else fails and they storm your keep, draw your weapon and start shooting.

REBUILD

Quick and efficient build system to rebuild your walls and patch holes before your opponent sends armies through to end the siege. Use your defensive upgrades to create smoke shields or forcefields around walls and buy yourself precious survival time.

ENDURE

Survive until time runs out by taking care of your walls and neutralising enemy strength.
