What separates this game from the abundance of backrooms experiences available on Steam? BACKROOMS will include several gamemodes available as part of the free demo, giving you an instantly tailorable experience to fit your preference. Upon full release, a feature-length campaign will be available with DLC expansion planned for the future. BACKROOMS aims to take a familiar and interesting concept and deliver an incredibly polished and visually stunning experience coupled with engaging and challenging fleshed-out gameplay. It is more than a simulator or a quick night of fun, but a fully realized journey.

• Free Demo

A campaign demo will be included alongside two Gamemodes:
Purist Time Challenge - No weapons, no entities: how long can you survive the infamous Level 0 before you lose all sanity?
Traditional Three Survival Challenge - Limited to the first three Levels of the Backrooms: gather resources and fight entities to survive as long as possible and find a means to escape liminal hell.

• The "Main 9" Release

The full release of BACKROOMS, including the main campaign, featuring the main nine Levels of the Backrooms - as well as additional Level encounters such as Level ! and Level Fun.

• Season Pass

After initial release, a season pass is planned. The season pass is an additional one-time purchase that will include any and all future additions to BACKROOMS. A selection of personal favorites and fan voted Levels will be added to the game, as well as additional rooms to explore in the Liminal Anomaly Center.

• Multiplayer Integration

If additional funding goals are reached and there is enough demand, multiplayer capability will be integrated into all gamemodes, excluding the campaign. An additional "Survival Challenge" type gamemode will be added with access to all included Levels of the Backrooms.

In the Backrooms, nothing is as it seems. Keep your wits about you and think outside the box to traverse the liminal dreamscape and solve visual puzzles.

• Story-driven to the Core

Aside from adrenaline fueled gameplay, BACKROOMS is set apart by its narrative. Follow Grayson as he willingly dives into the Backrooms to investigates the disappearance of his fiancé and the shady inner workings of the mysterious Liminal Anomaly Center in a feature-length story based on a classic myth.

Prefer the Purist, singular Level 0 approach to Backrooms lore? Or the Traditional Three? Got you covered. Several Gamemodes are included to allow for a tailored experience or additional challenge separate from the campaign.
