Fungal Descent is a rogue-like, first-person shooter, rich in lore, with a highly customizable gun and build-out system that allows you to build the perfect weapon in your fight against an overwhelming horde of enemies.

Your story begins as your ship is crashing on an uninhabited planet. Once on the planet you will:

• Fight through levels full of mutated inhabitants of the planet, old and new technologies, and strange fungal creatures

• Unlock mods to enhance your gun so you can create the perfect weapon

• Find items to aid you in your survival

• Discover mysteries that will explain what happened long ago

• Survive to recover the missing transmitter parts so you can call for help and escape

Unlock mods to create your perfect weapon. Equipped with modifiable guns, collect mods to create the weapon of your dreams to use through your run. Mix and match mods to create unique combinations that will affect how your gun will shoot, the effects your projectiles will have, and the type of projectiles fired. Because the order you attach them matters, there are thousands of possible combinations to experiment with.

Gather mods and other items from cargo pods, and secret areas. Use the spoils of your labor to build your perfect weapon. Collect resources from defeated enemies to purchase or unlock mods and other equipment.

A large variety of powerful enemies and bosses. Each floor is packed with unique sets of enemies. From mutated spiders the size of trucks, to alien robots, to strange fungal creatures, each run is a challenge just for survival.

Randomly generated floors. Every floor is randomly generated to keep each run fresh and exciting. Each time you start your run, a randomly generated floor is created for you to explore, fight through, and loot to try to make your perfect build.



Rich lore permeates each area. Every floor takes you deeper into the history and world you find yourself in. Equipped with your standard issue Buildsman Scanner, investigate your surroundings for clues to what happened here long ago.

Many secret floors and rooms to discover. Discover and unlock secret areas to find special items, fight unique enemies, and uncover hidden lore to aid you in your fight for survival, and your quest to reach the True Ending. Every area reveals new pieces of the puzzle to find the answers. Uncover lost mods and items to make the perfect weapon to defeat the final boss.
