「We're still actively developing the Inochi2D technology and Inochi Creator. Early Access allows us to both to catch problems early before the 1.0 release, but also take in user feedback early on features to add and user interface elements to adjust.」

「Depending on how much time Luna (the lead developer) have to develop the software due to outside factors, anywhere from a year to 2.」

「We're planning to add more node types, improve and revamp current ones to add more rigging flexibility. Additionally we're planning to revamp the UI subsystem of the program to improve overall usability and accessibility, as well as improve the translations we provide.」

「Inochi Creator is currently usable for rigging models, adding physics, exporting video, creating animations.」

「Inochi Creator's pricing will increase towards the release of 1.0; once we reach 1.0 we plan to stabilize the pricing.」

Inochi Creator is a 2D rigging tool which is designed for game development and VTubing. With Inochi Creator you can animate illustrations, visual novel portraits, and either export video animations for posting on the internet; or export our INP interchange format for use in video games.

Inochi Creator is entirely open source and our free SDK is under a BSD 2-clause license, so you can use your creations in your games and multimedia projects without any licensing restrictions!
