About This Game

Mala Petaka is a 2D Pixel Art Shooter inspired Sci-fi FPS powered by GZDoom engine. You play as 'Petaka', a guy that feels so angry & all he wants is just kill every one-eyed aliens & annoying drones he encounters and he doesn't know why since he lost his memories. In this game, your job is to control him to destroy every threat you encounters and explore the various universe through the warp portals to restore his memories.

Gameplay Features

  • Various weapons available: fists, pistol, shotgun, machine gun, grenade launcher, plasma rifle and more in the full version!
  • All weapons have alternate fire
  • Kill enemy with Fist Barrage by pressing one key to gain health and armor bonuses!
  • 20+ enemy types!
  • Useful powerups like Time Freeze, Rampage, God Mode and there'll be more in the full version.
  • Colourful NES-like cartoony graphics
  • 8bit / Chiptune SFX & BGM by Indonesian Chiptunes veterans like Remedmatika, Shakaboyd, Son of a Bit, and more!
  • 3 difficulty modes for player to choose: Easy, Medium, Hard
  • You start at the Hub map that let you choose the level you want to beat first via warp portals.
