Varför Early Access?

“TurboMania Fog Racers is a next generation, PhysX driven arcade racing game featuring extremely complex game mechanics ( as NVidia PhysX real-time simulated obstacles, very advanced respawn system, various powerups etc. ) and unrevealed game modes. Carrramba Games is a developer oriented towards innovation and perfection in game production and has decided to develop Fog Racers side by side in collaboration with its community with the goal of making the best possible old-school arcade racer yet.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“TurboMania Fog Racers will be in development for at least 12 months starting from Early Access first release in order to complete all planned features and content. However, additional community requests and ideas might shift the final release date.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“In the first early access version you are going to find up to 10 vehicles ( each with unique driving model ), 1 single player track ( second track named "Misty Peaks" to come soon ), powerups and 1 FreeRide track with slalom, jumps, giant loop and arcade section square, where you can test and grind your abilities to become the Ultimate TurboMania Champion!

When preparing the first release, we mainly focused on making the game playable. This means that some graphical elements of the interface will be developed and improved in the future. The same goes for special effects and animations. However, we have made every effort to provide you with the highest quality product that will keep you entertained for many evenings.

To keep things short below you can find a list of game elements, planned to be added in next, near in time, future updates:

- new sound for car bashing, jumping etc.
- new single player track "Misty Peaks"
- new car: SUV type
- new car outline logic
- real time car position display
- local splitscreen multiplayer mode
- new single player mode: "Police Chase" - the player must complete the lap before the police cars catch up with him
- further improvements in car driving behaviour”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“Based on a series of every-day tests we think, that currently our game is playable and stable on different hardware setups. Our testers reported, that no game-breaking bugs were present and if any occur, we will give our 100% to fix them ASAP. If you buy the game in current stage, you will be able to finish the race in single-player mode, as well as freely play in FreeRide game mode.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price of game will increase as the game gets closer to release date with the initial lower price serving as a 'thank you' to the community, that supported us in the early development phase. The final price is dependend on many factors ( including law and tax changes, current huge inflation and nowadays it's hard to say exactly how much the price will change. We expect a price growth between 25-90% ), so it's good idea to buy the game now if you want to save some cash ;)”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Carrramba Games developer encourages the community to post their comments, ideas, feature requests and bug reports directly on Steam’s discussion pages, or even third party sites (Reddit, Discord, etc...).

Given suggestions and ideas will be closely examined by our community managers and they will give their best to respond to each and every post you make. A good deal of your requests will be implemented in the game and the best to communicate your ideas to us is by making group requests or polls – if more people want something, then we can shift priorities and make it happen faster. However please be patient, game development is a long process - things don’t happen overnight and remember, that good things come to those who wait. :)”
