« Iosis hosts a wide range of features that requires extensive balancing and bug-fixing. We want players to experience the game as soon as it is playable and enjoyable while we continue to support it.

Game Balance Build synergies and enemies will be optimized based on player feedback.
New Features There are a lot of features that could not make it to the early access build. We plan to incorporate them as we finalize the development and integration process for new features.
Bug Fixes Although we double-check every feature added to the game, there is no ending to the bug hunt. »

« The full release is expected to take place in 2023. »

« Iosis aims to provide a multi-layered spell structure and synergetic enemy waves. The Early Access version presents a portion of both. Before the full release we will publish a series of updates that will enrich the enemy and spell pools. We believe that Iosis offers in its current state a promising experience and provides a basis for healthy player feedback that will shape the planned updates.
We will address potential balance issues in the full version to ensure that the game is challenging yet fosters player progression. »

In Iosis, you control the Silver Guard, which protects the Vitriol Vessel from waves of corrupted metals with collisions. The main source of damage is momentum; the higher the velocity and mass, the higher the damage. As you progress through fast-paced runs, you will have the opportunity to improve your play style according to several themes, focusing on mobility, self-sacrifice, manipulation and more.



Iosis is inspired from bullet hell and tower defense genres with a special emphasis on customizable runs that allow unique builds. Dying as the Silver Guard is only a temporary setback which unlocks builds that depend on self-damage and unleashes devastating power.




  • Collision-based close combat: The core combat depends on the momentum of the player as the main damage source. Basically, the faster you move, the higher the damage you deal. Becoming a massive object is also a way to increase your damage output but be careful not to restrict your mobility too much.



  • Over 60 collectible upgrades: In Iosis, the collectible upgrades come in two categories: Active spells and passive residues. Residues are of various types; parametric upgrades, periodically activated effects, triggered effects based on collisions and dash movement to name a few. Spells are more versatile and can be picked up and gotten rid of throughout a run to customize your build.



  • Over 20 different enemies: There are a number of metallic enemy types, Iron, Copper, Mercury, etc., each specializing on an aspect of gameplay. You will need to develop defensive mechanisms to negate their combat advantages.



  • 3 linearly progressive stages: The three layers of purification are abstracted in these layers: Gates, Fountains and Towers. You will find the difficulty of the game increasing as you progress through these layers.



  • Unique environmental challenges: As you progress through the abstract planes of alchemy, you will encounter different environments presenting unique challenges and rewarding permanent upgrades.


Play as the guardian of the Vitriol Vessel, the essential substance to achieve enlightenment and purity through the stages of alchemical space. You will face base metals that seek to corrupt the vitriol, for all metals have a lust to reach the purest of all, gold. Your main source of defence is your momentum, through mobility and strength, you must seek higher wisdom and purification.
