Miksi Early Access?

I strongly believe that involving the community in the development process is critical to making a game that people want to play, and keep playing.

As I continuously add new content, maintaining game balance is an ongoing challenge. I have a core group of alpha testers who have already provided invaluable feedback, but gathering reviews and input from a larger community will be invaluable.

There are a few design decisions which are currently up in the air, specifically whether to add active skills to the game, or keep it's controls simple. Each direction opens up both opportunity, but also downsides, so getting feedback from the community will help determine the development path.

I'm anticipating approximately 1 to 2 years of development time until I reach the features appropriate for a full version release.

The full version is planned to contain the following additions over Early Access:

• 50+ Skills
  
• 75+ Skill Supports
  
• Dynamic zone events
  
• Engaging, unique Bosses with their own loot pools, mechanics.
  
• Character save slots
  
• Improved Passive Tree
  
• A solid level of gameplay and build balance. There will always be OP builds, but I am striving to make as many builds as possible viable for endgame content.
  
• Expanded outfit system

Some of these features may already be in Mutagenic in some capacity. Expect them to improve over time.

I plan on using community feedback to steer the direction of the builds, as well as balancing skills, items, and characters. I regularly interact with the community and review feedback in the official discord.
