«After the success of several beta tests, we were able to implement many changes and even new content based on player feedback. With Early Access, we’ll be able to continue that process and develop Cloudheim together with our community as we work toward the full game launch. We’re excited to bring Cloudheim to an even larger community for more feedback and iteration! »

«We expect Early Access to take 9-12 months and plan on adding regular content updates throughout Early Access. We’ll also be constantly evaluating the state of the game and sharing future plans in the form of announcements and roadmaps with the community.»

«While you can still enjoy dozens of hours of gameplay in the Early Access version, we intend to add more systems and content to flesh out the full experience from start to finish.»

«With Early Access, you can expect five explorable islands, each with a unique questline and tons of enemies, dungeons, and loot to discover. There are four classes, each with their own set of weapons and skills that allow you to mix and match playstyles. At your base, you can build, upgrade, and decorate your shop while unlocking systems such as fishing, gardening, weaponsmithing, cooking, and alchemy.

For the full release, we are adding more areas, questlines, loot, weapons, skills, and upgrades for your base.

«Yes, we're starting Early Access with a lowered price to reflect the active development of the game during this period. At 1.0 release, we plan on increasing the price to reflect all the added content and polish of the game.»

«In the past year, we’ve established a track record of successfully running multiple beta tests and implementing changes, features, and fixes based on feedback from the players, and intend to continue that into Early Access.

We have an active community and regularly communicate with players on our official Discord server and on Steam. Cloudheim also has a built-in bug reporter where you can submit issues directly to us while playing.»

Master the Chaos

Unleash mayhem in a reactive, breakable world. Chain abilities into brutal team combos. Smash pillars onto monsters, lasso enemies into tornadoes, send enemies flying across the map, fire Greebles out of cannons, or kick exploding barrels into the fray.

Rise Together

Join up to three friends in online co-op. Share every weapon and ability you unlock as you grow stronger together and discover new playable Runari. Turn on Unbridled Chaos to lasso your friends in combat, because they deserve it.

Forge Infinite Possibilities

Build your workshop on Odin Shell, the ancient turtle who has summoned you to restore the world. With visual crafting, you'll never have to wait for a friend stuck in a menu. Forge tons of weapons, gear, and powerful abilities to use in battle or sell them to fund your journey.

Explore the Realms

Link the Bifrost gates to unlock new islands and handcrafted dungeons that rearrange every visit, including that one room you swore you cleared already. Run a Fantasy Shop

Team Up with Fantastic Creatures

Blins keep your shop running and Gnasher devours anything you find (and vomits up treasure in return, a fair trade). Chaos is great for business.

Our primary use of generative AI is for internal communication: we made a bot called InfoSage which helps us search our documentation, notify others of interesting discussions, and look through recent changes to pinpoint when bugs occurred.

Our developers can choose to use generative AI as part of an iterative exploratory process, but the decision of how and when is left up to individuals, and the final product always reflects the creativity and expression of our own development team.

No people have been replaced by AI. This includes artists and engineers on our team, voice actors, localization, or other roles.
