Live Maze is a Twitch fueled game where viewers type !play to be entered into a procedurally generated maze! Players will see their characters battle each other through the means of weapons and power-ups. A lovely intermezzo for Twitch streamers who wish to engage with their audience in new ways!

Hvorfor tidlig tilgang?

«I want to involve the community as much and as early as I can in the creation of this game.
The input and feedback from streamers and viewers alike is very important to me.
I shall actively participate in the Discord server and regularly check in with the community on their opinions, suggestions, improvements or critiques.»

Hvor lenge antas det at dette spillet vil være i tidlig tilgang?

«The game will be early access until the feedback and suggestions that come in will receive a halt (or close to a halt). I want Twitch streamers and viewers to have a pleasant experience and will not ceize development of the game until that is achieved.

The plan is to have all required features to exit Early Access implemented and tested roughly at the start of 2023»

Hvordan er det planlagt at fullversjonen skal være forskjellig fra versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The early access version will be a barebones version of the game. It will be functional but not super engaging. Over time I will add features to the game to enhance the gameplay experience for both Twitch streamers and viewers. I will be testing out features in future releases, and depending on the feedback I get from the community I will either keep them in the game, change them, or completely remove them.

The minimum features required to exit Early Access are:
  • (seasonal) Leaderboards
  • Character customisation
  • Ingame skin shop
  • Level editor
  • Steam achievements
  • Steam marketplace
  • Continuous game-loop mode

Hva er nåværende tilstand for versjonen i tidlig tilgang?

«The current version has a functional gameplay loop. However there will not be many customisation options and subsequent games will quickly become stale.
All features in the "About This" section on this page are implemented, that section will be updated over time as new features are added.
The exceptions are weapons and other power ups. As of yet, only bombs are implemented.»

«The game will always be free. I want every Twitch streamer to be able to enjoy this experience with their chat.»

«The community will have an active role in deciding the direction of the game. Through the official Discord server they can voice their opinions and feedback, and ask me questions directly.»

The latest game for Twitch Streamers

Need to cool down between games?
Let your viewers navigate through a procedurally generated maze, in order to be the first to the center.

Twitch integration

This game is fully Twitch integrated. All that viewers have to do is type !play and they'll be entered into the lobby!

Gameplay loop

Once the streamer decides that there are enough players in the lobby, they will start the game.
Players are then placed into random positions in the maze, and will automatically start navigating. No further interaction is required from the viewers end!

This is not a game you will play for hours on end, but it is sure to deliver a lovely distraction for anyone who is watching your livestream.
Live Maze can also function as a raffle system! Have the first person to reach the center of the maze win something, or host a grand-prix.

Gameplay features

  • Find randomly placed weapons and fight off other players
  • Find bombs and other power ups!
  • Start rounds manually or have mods do it when you're AFK
  • Each maze will be procedurally generated, with the size based on the amount of players in the lobby
  • Lots of customisation options for the streamer to create a unique experience every round
