Varför Early Access?

“The main reason for early access for Lost Paws is a combination of feedback and to figure out how best to expand the game going forward. While we have plenty of ideas on how to expand the game, we wanted to give priority for what people think would be best and what interests them the most. Early access is a great way to get everyone deep into the world of Lost Paws and provide tons of suggestions and feedback while it is still being expanded.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Lost Paws will be in early access for about a year. It could be longer or shorter depending on what the community wants for the game. We want to make sure that we add as much as possible to the full version of the game.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The full version is intended to be expanded from the present version. The main plans are to add new NPCs, more regions to explore, additions to the plot, and expansions to all the major systems currently in place. We would also like to add full controller support, additional customization features, expanded RPG, and more dog breeds.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The current state of the early access version of Lost Paws can be considered an expanded beta. It has a core gameplay loop and much to explore in the world. From a content perspective, the world is about 50% - 70% built with the survival systems finished, many NPC interactions (scaring, begging, and more) finished, the initial two rows (9) of RPG skills implemented, the first two zones of missions finished, physics interactions on various objects (garbage cans and shopping carts among others), and many items for you to find, pick up, and utilize. We also have added trading systems, crafting systems, more enemies, new weapons and armor, an ownable apartment, and expanded plotlines.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“For the early access release, the game will be at a lower price due to a reduced amount of content being available. After the full release, the price will be slightly higher due to an expected massive increase in content. Of course, plans like these can change. As for during the early access period, there are no plans for price changes of the base price.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“The community will be a big core of how priorities are decided for development and additional features to be added. We plan on listening to people on the Steam forums and on our Discord. We intend to release regular updates to the game and have announcements to update the community on the road map and the status of development. Everyone is encouraged to provide suggestions and ideas as well as any bugs they find so that Lost Paws can be the best it possibly can.”
