“"Lost Life : Origins” is a deeply personal project which began in 2015 as an experiment with the idea of recreating the atmosphere of “that special place” in mind. After many iterations, it made its way to Steam Early Access in 2023 and continues to grow.”

“Until it’s done. There are three more acts to come out, as well as multiplayer support. As a solo developer, it will take me quite some time to make the game as good as possible before the full release.”

“The game is structured into narrative Acts.
- Act I and Act II are already finished, with over 5 hours of gameplay combined.
- Future updates will introduce three additional Acts, each expanding the world and deepening the story.
- One of the Acts will introduce a multiplayer feature, as well as a new story and lore.
- Earlier Acts will also be revisited and expanded with new locations and refinements.
- English voiceover is planned for future updates.”

“The core gameplay systems are fully implemented, including:
- A wide variety of enemies with unique behaviors
- Melee and ranged combat
- Damage types, status effects, and stat customization
- Collectible items that influence gameplay
- Medicine, boosters, and survival mechanics

- Act I offers 1+ hour of gameplay.
- Act II expands into a semi-open world with 4+ hours of content.
- Several survival missions in a separate mode that unlock secret items and events for the main story. Gives 1+ hour of gameplay.

Most areas have already been reworked and expanded based on feedback, but still are subjects to improve over time.”
