“We are launching Neolithic Dawn in Early Access to allow old fans and new players interested in the game to play the content we have so far, and to allow the community to offer feedback and ideas so we can shape the game based on what players want. We hope to use this time to refine and polish the features of Neolithic Dawn to make the best possible experience for everyone. ”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We plan to stay in Early Access for 3-6 months as we polish the game, fix bugs, and improve the game based on Early Access player feedback. ”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“There were a number of features we wanted to include in Neolithic Dawn but had to cut back on due to our small team and limited resources. Among these features are more realistic environmental interaction such as burning grass / vegetation and chopping down trees, a more robust base building system to allow players to construct shelters outside the existing campsites, and a quick-play survival mode for players who want to jump in and survive as long as they can in a map without thinking about objectives or dungeons. ”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“The current state of Early Access has all 5 maps each with a unique puzzle / dungeon for progression, 6 types of animals (Wolf, Bear, Doe, Stag, Hare, Fish), 4 types of Megafauna (Mammoth, Giant Ground Sloth, Glyptodon, Smilodon), and the bulk of the story. Some areas may be incomplete and have more content after full launch, and there may be bugs or performance issues that we are working to resolve, particularly in multiplayer. ”

“The game will likely stay the same price after leaving Early Access. ”

A small amount of AI was used as a starting point for minor placeholder elements, such as backgrounds, UI graphics, and icons. This was done to speed up the development process and allow our small team to focus on other more important aspects of the game. Most of these are in the process of being replaced as we make changes to the menus leading up to full launch.
